When we got back from Atlantis, Elise was pestering the heck out of me to have her hair braided. I threw her in the shower and went up to Deck 9 to see if they had any openings. They said they could take her right away. I stood there and waited while they did her hair. While I was waiting, Steve and Ashley came along. They said that they just ran into my friend from the DIS boards (Leiana) who was getting married today. When Ashley saw the bride, she assumed it was my friend from the DIS. Ashley went on and on about how beautiful she looked and she wanted to see the wedding.
Elise’s hair came out really nice. $2/braid, how can you go wrong? I highly recommend getting your hair braided on the ship!!!
As soon as they were done with Elise’s hair, Elise wanted to see the Wedding. Ashley said she saw the bride and the Captain on deck 7. One of the stateroom attendants told us to try aft deck 7. When we got there I looked through the window and it was clear to me that it was private ceremony. Since, we were not officially invited, I lifted Elise up so she could see through the window and the Captain came to the door.
Captain - Can I help you?
Me - No, the kids wanted to see the wedding.
Captain - So, what are you wedding crashers?
Me - I guess so.
It was obvious to me, he did not want us there, so we went upstairs to 8 and looked down to this:

Then as we saw the bride and groom leaving, we bolted down the stairs to say Hi. As soon as we go down the stairs. The bride says, “Are you Tracy?” I said, Yes. She was so excited that I showed up to her wedding, she called her photographer over and asked if she could have a photo with my family. Here we are:

I congratulated them and told her how beautiful she looked. I swear, the kids felt like they were celebrities after that! It was so nice of her to make the kids feel so special and share her special day with us.
It was now around the time for the Toy Story Show. My kids are girls, so Toy Story is not their favorite Disney movie so, we opt’d to skip it. The kids wanted to go swimming after we just spent an entire day at a water park. Yeah!
I decided to try the hot tub, Elise was bouncing between the hot tub to the pool, Ashley was in the pool and Steve ran to the bar to get an adult cocktail. There were a couple kids in the pool. Steve came over to tell me that Ashley met a couple friends in the pool. I looked over and she was talking away to a couple girls. I sent Elise over to tell me what they were talking about. Elise reported back that one of the girls has an accent, she talks like this “y’all” I chuckled. Ashley does not make friends too easily, but a Disney Cruise brings out the best in all of us.

Tonight was dress up night so, I went back to the room to shower and get changed. Steve collected the kids and met me back at room a little while later. We all got dressed. I suggested that we stop at the atrium for a family photo shot. The picture came out ok, but I ended up trading it for better one in the end.
After our picture, we headed toward Animators Palate. I was so excited for this restaurant. When we walked in, Ashley noticed one of her pool friends was in the dining room as well. She walked by and did a little wave and smile. Her pool friend giggled. It was so cute.

For dinner, I had risotto and chicken because it was the meal that Brenton recommended. All of which was excellent. Kudos to Brenton again. I think Steve got the veal chop and he ordered an adult drink. Timea brought over a Coke for him. He looked at me puzzled. I told him to say something to Timea, but, he said it was not a big deal. Like I said before, Timea needed more time in training. Here are our servers:

Ashley and Elise ordered off the kids menu. Ashley is at an in-between age. She wants to order an adult meal, but does not always like the selection. This was one of those occasions. She ordered like a hamburger. Elise got the usual, a pizza.

The table next to us had a little girl and the girl fell asleep before dinner, so our lovely head waiter, Brenton set up a little bed for her with the two chairs and tablecloths. It was so nice. Mom and Dad had a nice quiet meal together, while their daughter slept peacefully next to them.
During dinner, the photographers came around and took some pics:

Now, let me admit, I am not very photogenic, but these photographers seemed to do a great job. I could not resist these photo’s.
For dessert, I ordered double-fudge chocolate cake, but Brenton took it upon himself to bring me both a double-fudge chocolate cake and warm apple pie. I of course, needed to sample both and I have to admit, Brenton was correct, the warm apple pie was much better.
AP was incredible. Ashley went nuts every time she noticed a picture change from black and white to color. Then after the meal, the servers change colors. A great restaurant!
After dinner, we walked around a little, but the kids were plum beat from our day at Atlantis. We decided to hit the hay so we could be well rested for our day at Castaway Cay. Steve is night owl and as you may have gathered, I am not. He walked around a little longer and then came back. Good night!!!!
Up next..... My favorite place on earth, Castaway Cay
